Indonesia's Taxi Giant: BYD's Indonesian Plant Will Reduce Local EV Prices

Noni Purnomo, President of Indonesia's largest taxi company Bluebird Group, anticipated that the soon-to-be-completed BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) plant in Indonesia will expand Bluebird Group's fleet and concurrently reduce local electric vehicle (EV) prices, Bloomberg reported.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Purnomo expressed delight over BYD's current investment in Indonesia, hoping that local EV prices will soon see a sharp drop.
